Reflex & transparent
A viewing window is intended for indicating liquid levels on all kinds of vessels and other system applications where liquid level readings are important. Our range includes glass tube, reflex and transparent viewing glass devices and of course fully adapted to the specific wishes of the customer.
Reflex,
Reflex level devices have a single viewing window that allows light to enter the measuring chamber to determine the liquid level. Above the liquid level, the glass prism reflects the surrounding light. Where the liquid fills the prism, the absorption of the light makes the level visible.
Transparent,
Transparent level devices have a double viewing window that allows light to enter the measuring chamber opposite the observer to determine the liquid level. Above the liquid level, the glass prism allows the surrounding light to pass through. Where the liquid fills the prism, absorption makes the glass transparent and the level visible. For easier liquid observation in dark environments, illuminators are available for use with transparent level devices.
Transparent level devices are also suitable for interface applications.
