(Bio) gas

Inline deflagration flame arresters are preventing transmission of deflagration in case of uncontrolled ignition.

Our inline deflagration flame arresters are specially developed for bio-, sewage- and landfill-gas applications and are approved incompliance with ATEX directive 94/9/EC.

Inline deflagration flame arresters of series 1003 are for explosive vapour-air, and or gas-air mixtures of explosives group I, (IIA1) and IIA with MESG > 0,9mm.

Deflagration flame arrester of series 1013are also approved for endurance burning of potentially explosive vapour-air, and or gas-air mixtures of explosives group I (IIA1) with MESG = 1.14 mm

All inline deflagration flame arresters are approved in accordance to EN 12874 and ISO 16852(Flame arrester - Performance requirements, test methods and limits for use)

Gas pressure regulators with filter

The R... type products are pressure regulators for gaseous media, suitable for all types of gas consuming systems.
RF is a regulator with an integrated 30-micron filtering element.
All models are equipped with compensation diaphragm to assure high accuracy and are designed to perform lock-up function.

Gas pressure regulators with filter and safety shut- off valve

The R... type products are pressure regulators for gaseous media, suitable for all types of gas consuming appliances.
RAG is air/gas ratio control (1:1) for combustion processes. Itis provided with adjustable offset spring (+/-3mbar) and adjustable bypass. It is also usable as zero-pressure governor.

All models are equipped with compensation diaphragm to assure high accuracy and are designed to perform lock-up function.

RFS is a regulator with on board filter and safety shut-off valve. In order to assure the safest working conditions, shut-off valve and regulating member are totally independent.
All models are equipped with compensation diaphragm to assure high accuracy and are designed to perform lock-up function.

Gas filters

Filters for gas pipelines with very high holding capacity of dust and impurities, suitable for protection of devices installed downstream.

The filter cartridge is a steel supported frame covered with a high performance nonwoven made of polypropylene fibres, which satisfy the stringent requirements of Fire Class F1 according to DIN 53438 and thus are self-extinguishing.

Inlet and outlet pressure chambers can be provided with gauges, to connect a gas differential pressure switch to monitor the pressure difference.

When the dust storage capacity is exceeded, the filter element must be replaced.

FGS1-2 models are provided with a washable mesh filter cartridge.

Butterfly valves for air and gas

VF and VFH butterfly valves are designed for regulation and control of air and gas flow.

Valves can be operated manually using a lever (to setup the high-fire rate of the burner) or automatically using a servomotor (modulating or staged control) or a solenoid actuator (two-stage control).

The setting can be monitored on a graduated scale, this allows precise regulation ratios.

This type of device is suitable for air and gas adjustment in combustionprocesses, like industrial kilns, drying stoves, smelting and annealing furnaces.

The VMR type valve is a fast opening solenoid valve that is normally closed.

When the coil is not energized the spring works on the disc keeping the gas passage closed. When the coil is powered the valve opens. When power is switched off the valve rapidly shuts.

This type of device is suitable for gas and air blocking and adjusting controls in atmospheric burners or fan-assisted burners, in industrial kilns and in all gas equipments which use gas solenoid valves (qualified for continuousservice - 100% ED).

VSG type is a globe valve for gas suitable for inline installation and end-of-the-line mounting.

The inner globe is manufactured with a full and straight gas passage that results in low pressure drop and limited generation of turbulence.

VSG is usually supplied with manual lever but it can be operated by various actuators.

Special versions are available for use with aggressive gases.

Proof of closure switch

The PCS is a mechanically activated switch for monitoring the position of the valve plate.

This device can be fitted to valves and actuators. It is designed in accordance with norm EN161 to detect the closed status. Thecompact, robust and functional design permits a simple and quick installation even on the field.

It is essentially maintenance free.

Available in ATEX ex-proof version.

Safety solenoid valves for air and gas slow opening and fast closing

The VML type valve is a safety valve that is normally closed, with fast or slow opening and adjustable rapid section for initial gas flow. When not in working position the spring works on the disc keeping the gas passage closed. When the coil is powered the valve opens rapidly in the first section of the flow, then slowly, with adjust-able speed. When power is switched off the valve rapidly shuts.

This type of device issuitable for gas and air blocking and adjusting controls in atmospheric burners or fan-assisted burners, in industrial kilns and in all gas equipments which use gas solenoid valves (qualified for continuous service - 100% ED).

Solenoid valves for combustion air regulation

The VRA/VLA/VTA types are normally closed solenoid valves for cold combustion air regulation.

When the coil is not energized the spring works on the disc, keeping the adjusted minimum passage of air. When powering the coil the valve opens, moving the disc to the maximum open position. When power is switched off the valve moves to the minimum position.

This type of device is suitable for high/low stage control of combustion air in industrialgas burners.

(qualified for continuous service- 100% ED).

Pressure switch for gas

The PSG 901 is an adjustable pressure switch for monitoring overpressure of air and non-aggressive gases (families 1-2-3 EN437).

The pressure switch is available in different pressure ranges, all with male threaded connection G1/4. Special versions are available for use with aggressive gases.

The compact, robust and functional design permits a simple, quick, and essentially maintenance free installation.

Solenoid actuator for butterfly valves

Solenoid actuators are designed to operate VF and VFH butterfly valves.

When the coil is not energized the inner spring pushes down the plunger and, by means of a gear mating, shifts the connected valve to the minimum opening position.

When the coil is powered the plunger moves up fast (SR) or slowly (SL-ST), shifting the valve to the maximum opening position.

This type of device, connected to VF and VFH butterfly valves, is used in two-stage control of gas and air flow in combustion processes.

Safety shut off valves, slow opening and fast closing with hydraulic or pneumatic actuator

The VMH type valve is a safety shut off valve for gaseous media operated by hydraulic actuator. It is suitable for gas blocking and releasing controls, asrequired in the main pipe of gas power burners, atmospheric gas boilers, industrial kilns and gas consuming appliances.

When the actuator is energized, the valve opens slowly (some seconds); as soon as power supply stops, the valve closes immediately (<1 sec). It is qualified for continuous service (100% ED).

The hydraulic actuator can be replaced with a pneumatic actuator (VMP series) if compressed air is available in the plant.

Servomotor for butterfly valves

Servomotors MZ are designed to operate VF and VFH butterfly valves.

They consist of a multi-stage spur gearbox with DC motor, driven by an electronic control unit. This allows a high torque and adjustable running time.

MZ3 type is suitable for basic adjusting position, operated by cams connected to driving shaft.

MZ5 type is suitable for advanced adjusting position, controlled by analogue signals with very high positioning precision.

This type of device, connected to VF and VFH butterfly valves, is suitable for three-stage control (MZ3) or electronic positioning control (MZ5), of gas and air flow in combustion processes.

Available in ATEX ex-proof version and in 10Nm torque version (MZ510).

Multiple safety solenoid valve for gas regulating trains

The VMM type valve is a combination of two valves in an only compact and versatile valve housing. The first valve is a fast opening safety solenoid valve. The second valve may be a fast opening or a slow opening solenoid valve to adjust the gas flow, with a first adjustable fast stroke and a second adjustable slow stroke. It is possible connect a third by-pass valve, which performs by driver stage or to obtain a second fast (slow) stroke or both. This type of device is suitable for gas and air blocking and adjusting controls in atmospheric burners or fan-assisted burners (with one or two stages operation), in industrial kilns and in all gas equipments which use regulating trains.

Safety solenoid valves for gas with manual reset, normally closed

The EVRM-NC type valve is a manual reset safety valve that is normally closed. When the coil is not energized the spring works on the shutter keeping the gas passage closed. Simplyby energizing the coil the valve does not open. It is necessary to manually move the reset rod located at the top of the coil. Once opened, the valve can maintain this position until electric current circulates on the coil. In absence of electric current the valve closes rapidly and remains shut upon return of same. Once the causes for the lock have been eliminated, opening must be worked manually as described above.

This type of device, connected with one or more pressure switches is suitable for locking operations upon gas, air, or electric current failure, and is qualified for continuous service (permanently live).

Safety solenoid valves for gas with manual reset, normally open

The EVRM-NA type valve is a manual reset safety valve that is normally open. A manual operation is therefore necessary to open the valve and set the mechanism consenting to maintainthis state. The powering by means of line current and/or condenser discharge, induced by the leakage detector, causes tripping of the mechanism and consequent closing of the gas passage. If energizing of the sensor persists due to the presence of gas, the valve remains under power and does not allow reset. When the causes for locking have been eliminated, the valve may be reopened by working it manually.
